Bungie has broken ties with Microsoft buying back their stock. The reason sighted was that all Microsoft wanted them to do was make new Halos. I have to say this is a great thing. Should make updates for Halo 3 interesting...

that is nice to hear, might be better for them they did pretty well with halo considering the giant chance they were taking when it was released. =P another blow to Microsoft's X-Box consoles.

Really one of their best moves might be to either become a PC only developer or to release a new franchise on the Wii.

they are releasing the first one on PS3, that might get some added boost to sales of the ps3 since they aren't doing to well. Also i think that the Wii might be challenging to setup the controls for it, but the PC could be the best move, since they can update better and add to the multiplayer better then microsoft can.

Meh PS3 is a bad move considering that the bungie loyal will have 360's. As a game developer you do not want to make a game for a console that you also have to help the sales on. The Wii controls would be challenging but are definetly feasible and it would be significantly lower budget. The PC would probably be my first choice in their position considering their prior experience.
