My PC has died. i dont knw why it has stopped working. For the last few days it has had trouble starting up when i push the on button. today when I went to turn it on it wouldn't turn on at all. I tried for about 20 minutes but it has not been able to turn on. I tried turning it off and on it would start to boot but then in less then a second shut off. I even looked to see if there was any connection problems and nothing could be found...idk what is going on. I need help asap can't have my main pc down for too long since its the only one that can run some of the programs I have on it. If anyone knows what might be the problem please let me know. _________________ When trust is broken what's left? |

OK I have thought about this a bit more; I still the the most likely candidate is the power supply. One other thing that came to mind is it could be one of the fans that is no longer working, _________________ Ahhh the silence here...... |

well i have had my pc running today for about 4 hours. I started to smell like a burning, i am worried it is the graphics card or something else cause now it will turn on but wont show anything on the screen and the fans seem to be going faster then normal...might be the Mobo on that but idk..... _________________ When trust is broken what's left? |

We will have to have a look at it, sounds bad, but I don't know what it could be tbh. _________________ Ahhh the silence here...... |

...i am thinking the mobo is just overheating and not running properly. The temp fan is running, all the fans seem to run just at a higher rate then I think they should. I also am not hearing the turnover when it loads up the software. So either hte mobo, cpu, g-card, or some connector or all the above might have something to do with it. _________________ When trust is broken what's left? |

=/ Well it started on monday. Was having trouble starting it, had to unplug it and was able to start it up after i manually fiddled with the power supply's switch. I don't know but seems similiar to the power failure last time. And right now i am using it. The only other problem would be the chipset overheating, other then that everything should be in working order. And since i got it to start up i am running diagnostics and checking to see if everything is getting power, so far no problems but only have had it up for 4 minutes as of right now. _________________ When trust is broken what's left? |

Damn like you say it sounds like the same problem as before. It may be best to get a new power supply. We will have to look at it and see though. When would be a good time, to look at it or for you to bring it over? _________________ Ahhh the silence here...... |
